the photos presented in this section were made between 1969 and 1983. my romance with photography was fresh.  it was on the verge of getting "serious".  i can't begin to count the hours i spent stalking images nor those spent in the darkroom to make them happen.  i could count the rolls of film consumed but haven't. i do know that there are nine very full archival boxes full of negative sheets that i managed to hold on to through countless relocations.  somehow i always knew i'd do something with them.  this presentation is my attempt at that "something".  it's a first step...
